Kim has been training dogs for over 10 year's, she is a positive reinforcement
trainer. Competing with her own dogs a Boxer Mix (rescued from Mid Michigan
Boxer Rescue) and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, in the canine sports of Agility and
Rally-Obedience. Some of her experience includes: Group Pet Training Instructor
for 5 years, teaching family manner classes, agility, rally-o, and dealing
with behavior issues. Her real passion is aggression and behavior modification
in which she is educating herself on a continuous basis.
She is a proud member of the following organizations: Mid Michigan Boxer Rescue, APDT member, certified CGC evaluator, certified pet first-aid and CPR administer, CPE agility member, USDAA agility member, AKC rally and agility member, and is continuing be get involved with other dog related activities. Her main goal in teaching is to break the communication gap between dogs and their owners, so people understand what their dogs are actually trying to tell us, and so we may enjoy each other for the short time our pets are with us.
